SMS Terms & Conditions

These SMS Terms & Conditions govern text message communications provided by Midwest Behavioral Health Center (“MBHC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Midwest Behavioral Health Center, you agree to these terms.
SMS Program Description
Midwest Behavioral Health Center may use SMS text messaging for one-to-one, service-related communications, including:
- responding to inquiries;
- referral coordination;
- appointment or scheduling communications;
- follow-up regarding services or programs;
- communication with referral and community partners; and
- other non-marketing business communications related to your interaction with Midwest Behavioral Health Center.
SMS messaging is not used as a substitute for emergency services.
Consent to Receive Text Messages
Participation in SMS messaging is voluntary.
By providing your mobile telephone number and agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS communications from Midwest Behavioral Health Center at the number provided.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of receiving healthcare services, treatment, or other services from Midwest Behavioral Health Center.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the nature of your communication and interaction with Midwest Behavioral Health Center.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Your wireless carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages in accordance with your mobile service plan.
Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying:

After you send STOP, you may receive a confirmation message indicating that you have been unsubscribed. You will then receive no further SMS messages from that number unless you later opt in again.
You may resume SMS communications, where available, by replying:
START
or by otherwise requesting to receive text messages again.

Healthcare and Sensitive Information

If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, believe you or another person may be in immediate danger, or require immediate assistance, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Text messages sent to Midwest Behavioral Health Center may not be reviewed or responded to immediately.
Supported Carriers and Delivery
SMS message delivery is subject to your wireless carrier, device, network availability, and other factors outside the control of Midwest Behavioral Health Center.
Midwest Behavioral Health Center and participating wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to These Terms
Midwest Behavioral Health Center may modify these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued participation in SMS communications after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
