Overall Needs
Behavioral Health Leadership Needed
Midwest Behavioral Health Center is seeking dynamic, compassionate, and energic leaders to join our team! We are looking for motivated and results-driven leaders with experience in the behavioral health field to help launch and grow safe, evidence-based, high-quality treatment programming.
Some examples of what you will be working on include:
- Collaborating with others to open and grow a high-performing behavioral health treatment program
- Recruiting, training, developing, and retraining team members of multiple disciplines
- Setting and meeting key performance metrics to ensure we exceed customer expectations
- Ensuring that programming meets all regulatory and accreditor compliance expectations
- Aiding with developing and launching clinical programming
- Creating and implementing strategic plans for facility operations and clinical expectations while meeting financial goals
- Fostering a safe, positive culture for patients and staff alike
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the behavioral health field required
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field with an active LMSW, LPC-S, LP license preferred or Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or leadership preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in the behavioral health field required for clinical leaders
- Strong ethics, judgement, and decision making
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Motivated and a results-oriented self-starter
Business Development Representative
The Business Development Representative is responsible for cultivating relationships and new referral sources by outreach to behavioral health professionals, treatment centers, local clinicians, interventionists and community organizations through education and awareness of the organization’s treatment brands and services. The representative will:
- Support the admissions team as outreach for potential new patients and families, taking phone calls from patients, family members and referring providers
- Provide documentation in software as outlined within the overall Business Development Plan
- Represent the organization in a professional manner at community and business events
- Strengthen resources through communication and collaboration with local organizations
- Support and expand existing referral relationships with strategic partners
- Identify and research new local partners and referral sources
- Set up meetings and tours with local referring professionals and potential new relationships with community organizations and local partners
- Attend necessary conferences and expos, representing the company
- Attend/ Host local networking events, lunches and community awareness and educational opportunities
- Bring creative outreach and networking opportunity ideas to senior management (CEU Events, community and recovery events, educational opportunities with local organizations, educational institutions etc.)
- Create and cultivate new and exciting branding or media ideas to further develop awareness of our organization’s brands
- Believe in the Mission and Vision of our organization, display this through interactions with organizations, clients, families and stakeholders
- Highest ethical standards
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have pre-existing referral relationships within the behavioral health community, have a proven track record of success and be highly self-sufficient while working well within a team environment
- Prior experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to events and appointments
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours at times, including nights and weekends when necessary
- Excellent time management skills
Psychiatric Social Worker
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
- Have specialized training in Psychiatric Social Work.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs.
- Provide counseling sessions and link clients to community resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, documenting progress, treatment outcomes, and any changes in care plans.
- Familiarity with PRTFs is preferred.
Registered Nurse
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Michigan.
- You should have at least one year of experience working in psychiatric services.
- Demonstrated ability to administer and monitor psychotropic drugs and other medications.
- Experience conducting thorough assessments of clients.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient files, documenting progress, treatment outcomes, and any changes in care plans.
- Familiarity with PRTFs is preferred.
Occupational Therapist
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of one year of experience in psychiatric services.
- Performing thorough assessments.
- Coordinating care plans, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
- Ability to provide patient-centered care that respects individual preferences and needs.
- Familiarity with PRTFs is preferred.
Clinical Psychologist
- Required Doctorate Degree in Psychology.
- Valid license as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Michigan.
- Experience working with individuals, specifically youth, diagnosed with mental health disorders.
- Familiarity with PRTFs is preferred.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and treatment plans for clients with mental health concerns.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
Physician
- Valid Michigan state medical license to practice medicine or osteopathy.
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry or a related field.
- Provide assessment and diagnosis.
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
- Compassion, empathy, and effective communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Psychiatrist
- Board-certified psychiatrist.
- Competence in child psychiatry.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Provide assessment and diagnosis.
- Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other mental health professionals.
- Participate in treatment team meetings to discuss cases and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Mental Health Professional
- Required: Must hold a master’s degree and be independently licensed in the State of Michigan in Social Work, Psychology, or Professional Counseling.
- Preferred: Experience working in substance use disorders.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Preferred: Certified or trained in multiple treatment modalities.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Behavioral Health Technician
- Certification or associate’s degree in behavioral health preferred.
- Experience working in a mental health institution or psychiatric ward (a plus).
- Ability to treat patients with dignity and empathy.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- EMR literacy.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records.
- Experience working with youth.
- Experience working with SUD clients.
Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor
- Preferred BCBA Certified/BCaBA Certified.
- Requires a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
- Knowledge of PRTF preferred.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed theories, principles, and practices.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff.
- Coordinates, assigns, and reviews work; establishes work schedules; and maintains standards.
- Generates and provides daily, weekly, monthly, and as needed reports of day-to-day unit performance.
Mental Health Clinical Supervisor
- Independent License with Supervisory endorsement (LPC-S, LMSW, LP).
- 3-5 years of mental health supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of PRTF preferred.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed theories, principles, and practices.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff.
- Coordinates, assigns, and reviews work; establishes work schedules; and maintains standards.
- Generates and provides daily, weekly, monthly, and as-needed reports of day-to-day unit performance.
Office Manager
- Lead all front and back office functions.
- Greeting and welcoming visitors.
- Handling phone calls.
- Managing mail and deliveries.
- Providing basic information to potential clients on programming and services offered.
- Scheduling and organizing intake appointments and ongoing therapy appointments for multiple staff.
